Genius30 Releases ‘Raijor Raai’ Mega-Survey: Data from 50,000+ Citizens for upcoming Assam Polls

GUWAHATI, ASSAM — March 30, 2026 : Genius30,
an independent think-tank and data-analytics group, has officially released the
comprehensive findings of its highly anticipated “Raijor Raai – The
People’s Verdict” pre-poll survey. Leveraging a massive, tech-driven
sample size of over 50,000+ verified respondents across all 126 assembly
constituencies, the extensive data audit projects a decisive mandate for the
BJP-led NDA alliance in the upcoming Assam elections.

A Tech-Driven Methodology

Unlike traditional political surveys
that rely on small, manual field reporting, the Raijor Raai project was
executed as a large-scale engineering operation. Spearheaded by a core group of
30 engineers, Genius30 utilized advanced telephonic polling and digital
auditing infrastructure to capture raw, unfiltered sentiment directly from the
grassroots.

By scaling the data collection to
over 50,000 citizens across Upper, Lower, and Middle Assam, the team bypassed
standard polling biases to ensure a highly accurate mathematical reflection of
the state’s current political mood. The methodology heavily factored in
shifting demographics, particularly the decisive youth and Gen Z voter blocks
who are increasingly prioritizing economic stability, technological upskilling,
and transparent governance over historical political rhetoric.

Key Findings of the Comprehensive Survey:

Seat Projections (126 Seats): The BJP
is projected to emerge as the single largest party, securing between 70 to 79
seats. The Congress follows with a projected 24 to 29 seats. Regional allies
AGP (8-9 seats) and BPF (7-8 seats) maintain crucial holds, pushing the NDA
alliance comfortably past the 64-seat majority mark.

Vote Share: The data indicates a
strong consolidation, with the BJP commanding an estimated 40.2% vote share,
and the Congress capturing 36.8%.

Chief Ministerial Preference:
Incumbent Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma remains the top choice for the
state’s leadership, securing 37% of the public preference. Gaurav Gogoi of the
Congress emerged as the principal challenger with 25% backing.

Top Government Achievements: When
asked to identify the biggest successes of the current government, citizens
overwhelmingly pointed to tangible, on-the-ground progress. Infrastructure and
Road Connectivity took the top spot at 26%, followed closely by Transparent
Govt Employment at 23%. Other key performance indicators included Clearing
Encroachments (18%), Governance (17%), and Ease of Doing Business (16%).

“What this data clearly shows is
a fundamental shift in how the Assamese electorate, particularly the younger
generation, is making its choices,” stated Nitesh Pandey, Tech
Entrepreneur and Co-lead of Genius30. “We are seeing a demographic that is
highly focused on practical, day-to-day realities. They are actively backing
narratives built around transparent recruitment, physical infrastructure, and
assertive administrative leadership. This massive 50,000+ dataset confirms that
the mandate is leaning heavily toward data-driven, delivery-focused
governance.”

“By treating this statewide
survey as an engineering challenge rather than just a media exercise, we’ve
bypassed the noise to provide an unfiltered, mathematical reality of the ground
situation,” added Rajat Agnihotri, Co-lead of Genius30.
